主讲人简介
Dr Yongsheng Chen graduated from Zhengzhou University with BSc in 1984, MSc from Nankai University in 1987 and PhD from University of Victoria in Chemistry in 1997 with Prof Reg Mitchell. Later on, he joined Prof Robert Haddon and Prof Fred Wudl groups for Postdoc studies from 1997-1999. From 2004, he has been a Chair Professor at Nankai University. His research interests focus mainly on Organic/Polymeric and Nano Materials for energy conversion and storage, including that for solar cell, battery and supercapacitor, etc. He has published over 500 peer-reviewed papers, including that in Science/Nature (5), JACS/Angew (>43), AM (37), with citing over 90000 times. Since 2014 until today, he has been on the list of the world highly cited scientists by Thomson Reuters. He has been awarded the China Nature Science Award (2nd class, 2018) and the membership of the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) (2025).
讲座简介
Green energy utilization, particularly that using the unlimited sunlight, would be vitally important for future economic and social development. In this talk, we will present our recent results about the studies of materials and devices for organic solar cells, lithium battery and other green energy conversion and storage using organic/polymeric and nano carbon materials. With the rapid and significant development of these areas, we will also propose some of our thoughts about future studies.
